Professor Ana Filipa Vrdoljak presented her paper on the legal and ethical obligations of art market actors during times of armed conflict and disasters for the panel on ethics and art markets across media chaired with UNESCO Chair Professor Alicja Jagielska-Burduk on 13 July 2024. The panel discussion was part of the 7th annual conference of The International Art Market Studies Association on the theme of ‘Multiple Art Markets in an expanding world’ (10-13 May 2024) hosted by the University of Melbourne.

The TIASMA conference also afforded the opportunity to introduce the work of the new UNESCO-UNITWIN Network on Culture in Emergencies.
