Professor Ana Filipa Vrdoljak, UNESCO Chair, was invited to presented on cultural rights and the protection of cultural heritage to the international thematic workshop organized by the UN Office of the High Commissioner for Human Rights Geneva and the UNESCO Special Rapporteur on Cultural Rights, Professor Alexandra Xanthaki on 1 December 2023. The UNESCO Chair made an oral and written submission to the consultation.

UTS acknowledges the Gadigal people of the Eora Nation, the Boorooberongal people of the Dharug Nation, the Bidiagal people and the Gamaygal people upon whose ancestral lands our university stands. We would also like to pay respect to the Elders both past and present, acknowledging them as the traditional custodians of knowledge for these lands.
