Professor Ana Filipa Vrdoljak as President of the International Cultural Property Society was pleased to deliver the opening remarks for the international conference on ‘Negotiating the Human: Justice, Ethics and Culture in Dealing with Human Remains’ hosted by the ICPS and the Art Law Centre, University of Geneva on 16 September 2022. We are grateful to Professor Marc-Andre Renold and the ICPS organizing committee for their hospitality.
UTS acknowledges the Gadigal people of the Eora Nation, the Boorooberongal people of the Dharug Nation, the Bidiagal people and the Gamaygal people upon whose ancestral lands our university stands.
